The phone is called the OnePlus 5 and not the OnePlus 4 because the number four is considered unlucky in China, where OnePlus is based. Though it will be the fifth phone produced by OnePlus.

OnePlus has made a name for itself with well-made, high-performing phones that sell for considerably less than competing flagships from Samsung and Apple. WhatsApp has more than 1 billion users, and it's widely used across the world for group chats and as a replacement for SMS in a number of countries. "WhatsApp is down" reports have been constant worldwide for the past hour.

WhatsApp was down in parts of India, Canada, the United States and Brazil, according to Reuters journalists. It affected people who use the service on Apple Inc's iOS operating system, Alphabet Inc's Android and Microsoft Corp's Windows mobile OS.

Google and Facebook together took 20 percent of the world's advertising budget across all media in 2016, according to a report published yesterday.

Twitter ranks 30^th, and is the fastest-growing media owner, increasing its ad revenues by 734 percent between 2012 and 2016. The micro-blogging platform reported better than expected quarterly results last week, with revenue at $548 million, versus an expected $511.9 million.

Apple AirPods voted by customers as the best Apple product ever made

Creative Strategies today released an analysis of the customer satisfaction of people who have bought the wireless earbuds sometimes compared to the top of electric toothbrushes and found the AirPods have set a record for the highest satisfaction level for a new Apple product.

When the iPhone, Apple’s biggest product, came out in 2007 it scored a 92 per cent satisfaction rate.

When the iPad came out in 2010, it scored 92 per cent. And when the Apple Watch came out in 2015, it scored a 97 per cent on customer satisfaction.

But the AirPods have scored a 98 per cent customer satisfaction, with 82 per cent of the nearly 1000 AirPod wearers surveyed saying they were very satisfied.
